Our Editorial Standards
How we choose topics, check details and keep the limits of an article clear.
Start With a Reader Question
Define what an article covers, who it may help and which details make a comparison useful. A list length is not a quality guarantee, and the order of entries does not imply a ranking unless that purpose is stated and supported.
Check Verifiable Details
Give priority to official materials and sources that directly address a claim. Separate documented facts from promotional language. Do not invent prices, statistics, business relationships or first-hand experience.
Explain Limits and Review Changes
Services, prices and terms can change. Explain what readers should verify and correct errors when identified. Mentioning an organization or showing an illustration does not establish an affiliation or representation.
